Operation: Mission Assignments

You see that creepy looking snowman behind Binary Flower? Ever wonder why he’s always lurking around? Well, I’ll tell you, but you musn’t breathe a word of this to anyone … except your fellow cadets of course.

That fellow there is named Ice Stickle, but we call him “The Joker” because of his wicked sense of humor. He’s a master covert operator who infiltrated the Pirates Lair to discover what dastardly deeds they’re planning. He’s provided us with lots of intelligence before he came under suspicion by their captain. He escaped unscathed and is now serving as our Master of Cadet Missions.

Although Bing and I give you a mission each day that you report for duty, we’re not always around when you finish your assignment. So we’ve asked “The Joker” to pitch in and do his part.

Now whenever you finish your first mission and you’re looking raise your stats on our leaderboards, you’ll need to go to Blizzard Valley and see “The Joker”. He’ll give you as many new assignments each day complete with bonus stars to build your savings account for important things like that cool sombrero at Stunning Styles.

So, be sure to pay your respects to the brave Ice Stickle the next time you venture into Blizzard Valley. He’s another brave hero of our Tiny Planets Universe.

Tip Tuesdays: Shopping

Cadets, your progress is coming along quite nicely. Your missions are completed in a timely manner and you have been very precise in following the rules of space etiquette. Very good indeed! So, as a reward for all of your good works I’d like to share with you a way to save time and get into the action a lot faster.

You may not be aware of it, but you are able to make purchases outside of the stores located at Planet Central. When you’re in a hurry, instead of leaving the spaceport and trudging down to Speedy Spaceships, waiting on line and then trudging back to the hanger to begin your journey, all you have to do is buy the ship at the hanger! Here’s how you do it:

  1. Proceed to the Hangar.
  2. On the lower left hand side of the screen where you can see the hologram of the ships available. You’ll see a little sign that says “Get More”
  3. Select the ship you like (and have enough Star and KEYs for) and away you go!

And believe it or not you’ve been carrying another great shopping timesaver right in your  pocket –  it’s your Passport!

When you open up your Passport you can teleport directly to your planet (no need to go to the hanger!). If teleportation isn’t your favorite way to travel, select your spaceship and head into space.  Here’s how you do it:

  1. Just click on your avatar on the left of your command screen.
  2. This will open your passport.
  3. You’ll be presented with a choice between Planets or Ships.
  4. Choosing Planet will take you to your planet. (And of course choosing Ships lets you choose your spaceship.)

Well that’s enough Timely Tips for today. Be sure and check us out every Tuesday for more hints and tricks.
