This week on the Tiny Planet of Technology Bing and I  tackle a GIANT problem! You see, we were looking for a little inspiration for our artwork and decided that the Planet of Technology just might be the ticket.

We jumped onto our comfy sofa and flew right over with our art supplies. Just as we were getting settled to paint and draw we saw five Flockers struggling to push a giant Flocker on a sled. And when I say “giant” I mean GIANT!

As we watched their progress, Bing slipped on colored pencils which had to the ground. Together we agreed to approach the Flockers about our idea to use rollers to move the monolith from one place to the other.

We tried it, but when the giant Flocker monolith falls off the end of the rollers, we realize that we haven’t thought the plan out as well as we thought. Since the rollers worked so well, we decided that the answer was more rollers. The extra rollers were delievered on a trolley, which has . . . wheels – aha!

We all pitched in and moved the Monolith onto the trolley and the Flockers were able to use the trolley wheels to pull it quickly and easily! Wheels are really wonderful don’t you think?

This week, we’re going to explore the wonderful world of wheels with lots of cool crafts and activities for you to try with your children.  Can’t wait to share them with you, so don’t be a stranger!

Episode 40 Strength in GirdersJoin us this week for an exciting adventure on The Tiny Planet of Technology. We’re going to do some heavy lifting and problem solving — are you ready for it?

When we got on the Tiny Planet of  Technology, Bong and I ran into some Robots welding girders together to make a bridge. Talk about noisy!

We didn’t want to disturb them, so we kept walking and finally arrived at a small Flocker house for a visit. I knocked on the door and BANG! It collapsed into a cloud of dust, oops…

We got together and started reassembling the house. As we finished up, a Flocker riding a big metal wheel sped by causing a lot of  vibrations — the house falls apart again! What now?

Worry not, Bong to the rescue! He thought of the bridge, sparking one of his brilliant ideas. We put on our hard-hats and started rebuilding the Flocker home with the Robots’ help. When we got finished, the house was durable and ready to withstand anything, even Flockers riding on big metal wheels. Let’s see if you can guess what we used to rebuild and fix the house? Any ideas?

Get those thinking hats on and think BIG!

Your friend, Bing
