Head over to the Tiny Planet of Nature to watch Bing and Bong’s adventure with the Season’s Machine. This episode is designed to help young children gain an understanding about the seasonal changes by observing the similarities, differences and patterns of change as they affect a tree.
So here’s what happens one day when Bing and Bong stop to play on the Tiny Planet of Nature:
On the Tiny Planet of Nature, Bing and Bong discover a cave. Inside the cave is a Seasons Machine. With the touch of a button, the tree is transformed depending on the season selected. As Bing and Bong play with the Seasons Machine, they watch the tree sprout leaves, grow fruit, lose its leaves and sleep according to the buttons they push, learning in minutes what it would normally take them a year to learn first hand. The Desert Badlands
Alert! Alert! Space Pirates have been spotted on Planet Central! We need all available cadets to report to Bong in The Desert Badlands ready for action. This tenacious bunch of scallywags seek to make mischief on Planet Central and must be stopped for the good of us all.
You’ll be happy to know that Bong “the Fearless” (as he’s known to the Badlands local population) is the very best there is at ferreting these pirates out of their hidey holes. As good as Bong is, he can’t do it alone. These pirates travel in fleets of five ships and are a crafty lot. Cadets, we’re counting on you to discover the locations of these pirates so that we can send them off packing.
Now, I don’t want you getting nervous. You can think of it as a high-level game of hide-and-go seek. Just make sure that you find all five pirate ships before they find you! Your ships will be equipped with sonar (to find out their hiding spot without risking your own ship) as well as a special “present” that you can deliver to those pesky pirates. Now that you have your equipment are you up for the challenge? Do you have what it takes to keep the Desert Badlands from falling into the Pirates hands?
